MEETS FOR CLUB MEMBERS ARE HELD AT KAISER HIGH SCHOOL, 511 LUNALILO HOME ROAD, HAWAII KAI. PARKING AT KAISER IS FREE. THE ONE TIME ENTRY FEES FOR ALL HMTC SPONSORED MEETS ARE THE ANNUAL $14 CLUB DUES.

March 9 Weight Pentathlon and Super Weight Meet at Kaiser Discus cage at 8:30am.

You may do all events or just the throwing events you choose.

We will be celebrating Bob Molyneux’s birthday and entry into the 70-74 bracket.

March 23 Pentathlon. Meet at Kaiser long jump pit at 8:30am.

May 4 Weight Pentathlon.

May 25 Pentathlon

Note: A schedule of separate HMTC meets for the remainder of 2008 will be announced by June 1.

Jumpers, Hurdlers and Pole Vaulters are encouraged to compete in the meets below.

Sprinters who need electronic times for qualifying marks should enter Sunset Series meets.

This meet is the qualifier for the 2009 National Senior Games at Stanford.

SPECIAL EVENT:

Aug8-24, 2008 Bryan Clay competes in the Olympics decathlon? Say a prayer for

his good health. We are all so very proud of his achievements

and dedication, regardless of the outcome of any one event. He

must be recognized as one of the top five Hawaii athletes all time

in all sports for his accomplishments to date. Silver in 2004 Olympic

decathlon. Gold in 2005 World decathlon. The 2008 Olympics will

be frosting on the cake! Best wishes to his family and his coach at

Castle High School, Martin Hee, HMTC member since 1971.

PRACTICES, COACHING, TRAINING SESSIONS:

HMTC members train at different times at tracks around Oahu and on the Neighbor Islands. Newcomers should attend the track meets on the HMTC schedule in order to: meet fellow members who do the same events, receive some coaching and arrange to train with others at compatible times when tracks are open at UH, Kaiser, Punahou, Iolani, Mililani, Kamehameha or other schools.
