Subject: Results of Sprint Quadathlon
Colleagues:
Thank you to all who competed and officiated today. Since no one did the
400 meter dash, what shall we call this event, the Quadathlon? I only know
Latin. Does anyone know what the Greek prefix would be for four?
Here are the results:
Each performance was hand timed. The result presented below has not been
rounded upward to the nearest tenth. Results shown do not include addition
of .24 for 60, 100, or 200 or .14 for 300. I will leave these adjustments to
be made by Bob Husic.

Ron Heller (Sept. 4, 1956) DNF
It was a beautiful day at Kaiser. Thank you to our new member, Ron
Heller, for officiating. We are sorry that you pulled the hamstring. This is
a very common an injury when people blast out of the blocks for the first
time. Thank you, Colonel, for officiating the sprints and sacrificing time
to do your throws.
See you all at Kaiser after the Marathon for our Weight Pentathlon and/or
Sprint Triathlon. A newsletter for 2008 will be forthcoming in December. It
will include a report on the USATF annual conference at the Sheraton this
week.
Aloha, Jack
PS; Sai Ching's points are World Class. Like an 8,000 plus Decathlon.
Aloha Bob
